Windtech International publishes study by Jan-Hendrik and Martin on the choice and design of optimal end-of-life strategies for post-EEG wind turbines as the cover story. The study shows updated results compared to the publication in Energy & Management, which take into account adjustments in spot market price developments and tender results. To the extent that the developments of the past months are also confirmed in the medium term, the results show a significantly greater potential for lifetime extension and repowering than was assumed in the past by many players in the German wind energy market.
